Celebrating 2,000 Trustpilot Reviews: Doubling Down on Our Mission

It feels fantastic to be writing about this milestone today.  Now, here we are at 2,000 reviews on Trustpilot. That number represents twice as many lives impacted, twice as many front doors opened, and twice as many dreams turned into reality. And it’s more than a number to us—it’s a testament to the trust our customers have placed in us to help them through one of the most significant challenges in their life.

When Haysto started, our goal was simple yet powerful: to prove that bad credit, self-employment, or complex financial circumstances should never stand in the way of owning a home. Since then, we’ve only become more committed to that mission. Every review tells a story of perseverance, resilience, and the joy of unlocking a better future.

The World Hasn’t Got Easier

If anything, the last few years have made things tougher. The cost-of-living crisis continues to bite, and more people than ever are navigating unpredictable work patterns, juggling zero-hours contracts, or trying to grow small businesses amidst economic uncertainty. These challenges can leave scars on credit files and push dreams of homeownership even further out of reach.

But here’s the thing: we refuse to let those circumstances define what’s possible. We’ve doubled down on our efforts to show that rejection isn’t the end of the road. Every day, we hear from people who’ve been told “no” over and over—by banks, brokers, and lenders. And every day, we get to turn that “no” into a life-changing “yes.”

Our team celebrates every time we see a review about someone finally getting the keys to their new home. It’s not just a professional milestone—it’s deeply personal. That’s why one of our founders still personally follows up on every bad review. If we’ve fallen short, we want to understand why, and we’ll move mountains to make it right.

Since our last milestone, we’ve kept our foot on the pedal, constantly refining and expanding how we support you:

• Haya, our customer-centred tech platform, has undergone significant upgrades to make the mortgage process faster, smoother, and less stressful.

• We’ve developed a number of fantastic trainee mortgage advisers who are now helping customers every day and we’ll continue to do so.

• We’re investing heavily in more cutting-edge technology, particularly in using the power of AI, to stay at the forefront of the industry.
